We are currently based just outside of Camborne, Cornwall but we are more than happy to travel anywhere in Cornwall to capture your special day. However, we can travel further afield for a small cost to cover travel expenses for things like fuel, trains, flights and accommodation will be quoted upon enquiry and charged once all costs have been confirmed.
Although we haven’t had the opportunity to travel abroad and shoot a wedding yet, it’s not to say it’s not on our bucket lists of things to do. If you’re living abroad and love what we do. Get in touch and we can get chatting! Wherever that may be, we would love to know your plans and ideas.
Typically, we will send you 4 or 5 edited photos as a sneak peek within 72 hours of your wedding day (to tie you over), then aim to deliver the full set of pictures within 4-6 weeks. This will be posted to you on a USB and also shared via an online gallery.
Yes, we do! Engagement shoots are a great way to celebrate your love, get comfortable in front of the camera, and have some fun before the big day. We offer engagement shoots as part of some of our wedding packages, or as a standalone service. We can shoot at a location of your choice, or we can suggest some beautiful spots that we know and love. We will work with you to create a relaxed and natural session that reflects your personality and style.
We like to take couples for a short stroll in a scenic location during the early part of their drinks reception. This usually takes 5 to 10 minutes, and it allows us to capture some beautiful portraits of them. We don’t direct couples or make them pose. We want them to act naturally and enjoy the moment. You can see some examples of the kind of portraits we aim for in our portfolio. If the weather and time permit, we may also take couples for another walk during golden hour in the evening, when the sun is low and the light is soft and warm.
Sadly, we do not offer videography. This was something we thought long and hard about. However, we felt that having 2 photographers instead of 1 capturing video allowed us to capture more of the day and produce quality pictures for our clients. We are able to capture multiple angles this way and felt that it suited us and previous clients better.
• In the beginning: Take a good look through our work and get in touch. We are always happy to discuss your plans or any queries you may have, whether that be on the phone, via email, or over coffee.
• At The Time of Booking: We will send you an online contract for us both to digitally sign. A 20% deposit is required to secure your wedding date, which can be easily paid online via BACS or PayPal.
• After that (Optional): We would highly recommend an engagement shoot; this helps relax you in front of the camera and for us to get to know each other. Plus, you will also get some lovely images that capture you as a future married couple.
• 6-8 Weeks Before Your Wedding: We will send you a wedding- day worksheet, so you can record all the important details and timeline of your wedding day. This will help us be prepared to get all the must-have images you want.
• 2-3 Weeks Before Your Wedding: We like to meet up in person or via video chat to go over the wedding day timeline and make sure all details are correct.
• 2 Weeks Before Your Wedding: Your final payment is due. • Your Wedding Day!
• 4-6 weeks after your wedding: Your online gallery will be ready and a USB with the images will be posted to you.
We like to be involved in whatever is going on. That doesn’t mean getting in the way or directing things every minute. We want to seek out and capture all those details of your day. This will include all the moments shared between you and your guests, the moments you don’t see when you and your partner are enjoying your wedding.
We try to blend into the background as much as possible whilst also being a helpful member of the wedding party. At the end of the day – it’s your wedding day and we are delighted to be part of it.
We shoot until the day is over and the bride and groom are happy with the results. If that means skipping on the food, then we will. We are there to capture the day, not hide out the back and scoff our faces.
Talking numbers... We can safely guarantee you a minimum of 400 images. this will be a mixture of black and white and colour. (*On Full Day Packages)
We always bring spare memory cards just in case we get a little trigger-happy!
No. If we haven’t worked at a venue before we factor in a venue visit on the morning of the wedding (or before) to familiarise ourselves.
The simple answer is... No! In all of our packages, 2 photographers are included. This results in double the photos, but also double the fun. This enables us to capture 2 angles of the same shot, one further away and discreet and the other, up close and personal.
Of Course! in fact this comes as standard with all of our packages. We feel this offers a unique perspective on the day. However, this is venue and weather dependant so be sure to check before-hand.
We are both fully licensed by the CAA to operate within 5 metres of uninvolved subjects and to a max height of 120 metres. We fly under these rules to ensure you, as the client, is safe but more importantly happy with the results.
